The density tool allows you to get a density average in a zone.
To drop a zone in the viewer, click the magnifying glass icon and select the 3rd option in the menu. Then click anywhere on the point cloud to drop the zone.
The zone is 50cm long and the density is calculated in points per square meter, meaning that in the displayed zone, their is a quarter of the announced points. If you see a yellow box around the point density value, that means it is still loading points and it is not the final value. Once the box has disappeared, the points are all loaded.
To move the zone, click it once to attach the zone to your mouse, it will become yellow, click again to release it, it will turn back to black.
